Rick O'Connor began his career in the visual effects at ILM more than 15 years ago with STAR WARS: EPISODE I - THE PHANTOM MENACE. He then worked on films such as VAN HELSING, WAR OF THE WORLDS, all the TRANSFORMERS films or STAR TREK.

From 8th to 9th July took place the 9th edition of Imaging the Future during the NIFFF in Switzerland. Since several years, I am proud to collaborate with the festival teams to offer guests and speakers from worldwide VFX studios.

Daniel Kramer began his career in visual effects there are more than 22 years. He worked at VisionArt on films like INDEPENDENCE DAY or GODZILLA. He joined Sony Pictures Imageworks in 2000 to work on SPIDER-MAN. He worked also on many projects such as THE POLAR EXPRESS, WATCHMEN or HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA.

Margaux Durand-Rival began her career in visual effects in 2008 at Sabotage Studio in Paris and then at Digital District. She worked on various commercials and music videos. In 2011, she joined The Third Floor in London and participated in previz many films like THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, MALEFICENT or EDGE OF TOMORROW.

In 2012, Jonathan Fawkner had told us in details of Framestore work on WRATH OF THE TITANS. He then worked on GRAVITY as additional visual effects supervisor. Today he talks about his work on EDGE OF TOMORROW.

Last summer, Tim Crosbie explained in details about the work of Rising Sun Pictures on THE WOLVERINE. He is back with superheroes and talks to us about his work on X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.

Kelly Port had explained in details the work of Digital Domain on THOR in 2011. He then worked on the effects of THE WATCH. Now he talks about his work on MALEFICENT.

In 2004, Michel Mielke started as VFX-Producer at Scanline, working on projects like 2012, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES or Marvel's THE AVENGERS. In 2012, he became VFX Supervisor, for projects like LOOPER and SNOWPIERCER. He's now Head of Production since spring 2013, supervising all inhouse producers and taking care the daily business.

Ferran Domenech is in the VFX industry for over 14 years. In 2003, he joined MPC and he is still there. He has worked on several HARRY POTTER movies and supervised the animation for films such as PROMETHEUS, TOTAL RECALL, JACK THE GIANT SLAYER or THE LONE RANGER.
