The survival thriller follows a Special Forces officer and his combat dog after a devastating plane crash leaves them stranded in the Alaskan wilderness. Facing extreme conditions and isolation, the pair must work together to overcome the challenges standing between them and survival.
The visual effects for the film were created by Framestore, Rodeo FX, BOT VFX, Soho VFX, Crafty Apes and Opsis, with François Dumoulin serving as Production VFX Supervisor and Rene Sekula as Production VFX Producer.
Directed by David Ayer, Heart of the Beast is set for release in the United States on September 25, 2026.
