Set sail once again with the final trailer for Disney’s live-action Moana. The film follows Moana’s first voyage beyond the reef, where she joins forces with the legendary demigod Maui on an epic quest across the ocean.
The adaptation revisits Moana’s journey as she ventures beyond her island alongside Maui to restore prosperity to her people. The trailer highlights large-scale ocean sequences, digital environments, and character-driven moments, pointing to a production that blends practical filmmaking with high-end VFX to recreate the world of the original animated feature in live action.
The film brings together a major visual effects pipeline, with Bill Westenhofer serving as Production VFX Supervisor and Leslie Lerman as Production VFX Producer.
