The newly released trailer introduces a tense survival story as the family struggles to cope with dwindling resources while confronting a mysterious force that prevents them from leaving their house. Forced to rely on one another, they must find a way to survive as the situation becomes increasingly desperate.
The visual effects were created by ILM, Untold Studios (VFX Supervisor: Julien Bolbach) Red Visual Effects and an in-house team, with Jan Maroske. serving as Production VFX Supervisor and Sarah Jane Dunlop as Production VFX Producer.
The Last House is directed by Louis Leterrier and will premiere on Netflix on August 7, 2026.
