Since his last appearance on The Art of VFX where he told us about the VFX of Method Studios on J. EDGAR, Ollie Rankin worked on RED DAWN.

Bill George began his career in visual effects as a model maker in 1979 on STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE. After completing his work on BLADE RUNNER, he joined ILM in 1981. He created models for many films such as STAR WARS: EPISODE IV - RETURN OF THE JEDI, INNERSPACE or GHOSTBUSTERS II. In 1997, he became a visual effects supervisor and take care of many films like GALAXY QUEST, HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS, EVAN ALMIGHTY or I AM NUMBER FOUR.

Westley Sarokin worked for 5 years as an Flame artist at a52. In 2005, he joined The Mill as Joint Head of 2D. In the following interview, he explains his work for the VFX supervision of the VIKINGS main title. He is, for it, accompanied by Danny Morris, Lead Flame Artist.

Scott Stokdyk starts working in visual effects more than 17 years ago. He has worked on such films as BROKEN ARROW, THE FIFTH ELEMENT, TITANIC or GODZILLA. It is with great pleasure that I welcome again Deak Ferrand on The Art of VFX. During his last visit, we had explained the work of Hatch on THE BOOK OF ELI. He has since worked on films like THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, THE DICTATOR or UPSIDE DOWN.

Having worked for many years at Pacific Data Images (PDI) on projects such as TOYS, TRUE LIES or NATURAL BORN KILLERS, Rebecca Marie founded Hammerhead in 1995 with Jamie Dixon, Thad Beier and Dan Chuba. She has participated in very many movies including TITANIC, DEEP BLUE SEA, X2, WANTED or THE BOOK OF ELI.

After beginning his career in traditional animation, Joe Farrell goes digital on TV series such as STARGATE SG-1 or JEREMIAH. Few years later, he joined Digital Domain and worked on films such as I, ROBOT, FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS, TRANSFORMERS or 2012. In 2010, he moved to Scanline VFX to work on HEREAFTER and then on IMMORTALS and BATTLESHIP.

Dan Levitan began his career in visual effects at Cinesite Hollywood in 1994 and worked on films like WATERWORLD, GATTACA or PLEASANTVILLE. He then worked at Dream Quest Images, CIS Hollywood, Digital Dimension and Hammerhead. As VFX supervisor, he worked on movies such as SALT, THE HANGOVER PART II or FRIGHT NIGHT.
