From his first steps into the spotlight with the Jackson Five to his emergence as a global superstar, the film chronicles the defining chapters of Michael Jackson’s life. Showcasing both his private world and some of his most iconic early solo performances, Michael offers audiences a front-row seat to the origins of an artist whose relentless pursuit of greatness reshaped popular culture.
The film’s visual effects are supervised by Production VFX Supervisor Louis Morin and Production VFX Producer Greg Baxter, with VFX work handled by Cinesite, ILM, FOLKS, Rodeo FX, Rising Sun Pictures and Lola VFX, supporting the film’s recreation of iconic performances and key moments from Michael Jackson’s life.
Directed by Antoine Fuqua, Michael is set for release on April 26, 2026, in the United States.
