More than 40 years after inspiring a generation, the most powerful man in the universe returns. These new featurettes explore the revival of Masters of the Universe and the journey of bringing He-Man and his legendary Sword of Power back to the screen.
In Masters of the Universe, a young man living on Earth discovers a hidden legacy as the prince of an alien planet. As he recovers a legendary sword and begins to embrace his destiny, the TV spot highlights intense action moments and teases the long-awaited confrontation between He-Man and Skeletor, setting the stage for a battle that will determine the fate of an entire kingdom.
The production’s VFX are overseen by Tim Burke and David Vickery, with Rich Yeomans serving as Production VFX Producer. The visual effects are delivered by ILM (VFX Supervisor: Pietro Ponti), DNEG (VFX Supervisors: Chris McLaughlin & Rhys Salcombe), Rodeo FX,
Cinesite, Untold Studios and Host VFX.
Directed by Travis Knight, the film is scheduled for release in U.S. theaters on June 5, 2026.
