A new hunt begins beneath the lights of Los Angeles. Discover the first teaser for Blade Runner 2099. Fifty years after Blade Runner 2049, a fugitive turned Blade Runner embarks on one last mission alongside a Replicant with little time left.
Set in a rebuilt Los Angeles, Blade Runner 2099 follows Cora, a fugitive who assumes one final identity as a Blade Runner. Forced to work alongside Olwen, a Replicant nearing the end of her lifespan, she pursues a runaway whose secret could threaten the fragile balance of the city.
The film’s visual effects are supervised by Production VFX Supervisors Aleksandar Pejic, Viktor Muller and Production VFX Producers Karen Murphy-Mundell and Barbara Genicoff. The visual effects are being created by DNEG (VFX Supervisor: Ben Jones, VFX Producer: June Valle) and UPP, Rodeo FX, Territory Studio, Studio 8 and Company 3.
The series is led by showrunner Silka Luisa and will premiere on Prime Video on November 25, 2026.
