Set within the world of Amadeus, invisible visual effects play a key role in enhancing theatre scenes and environments, with BlueBolt delivering digital crowd work and discreet set extensions that remain entirely unseen.
A significant part of the VFX work involved creating a convincing theatre audience, enhancing the sense of scale and presence without drawing attention to the visual effects themselves. These digital crowds blend naturally with the live-action footage, preserving the authenticity of the performances.
In addition, discreet set extensions were used to enrich the environments, expanding the physical spaces while remaining entirely invisible to the viewer. The result is a polished visual experience where the effects serve the story rather than stand out.
