The new trailer for The Dog Stars, the latest film from legendary director Ridley Scott, has arrived. Set in a brutal post-apocalyptic world, the film follows a pilot who embarks on a dangerous journey after hearing a mysterious voice over the radio.
After a global pandemic wipes out most of humanity, the few remaining survivors must contend with both the harsh environment and the deadly Reapers roaming the land. The story follows Hig, a pilot clinging to the past while searching for meaning in a broken world, as the trailer highlights a mix of tension, solitude, and emotional depth.
The visual effects are overseen by Production VFX Supervisor Charley Henley and Production VFX Producer Helen Judd with work carried out by leading studios including RISE, Untold Studios, Outpost VFX, Bluebolt, Light VFX and TPO VFX.
The Dog Stars, directed by Ridley Scott, is set to release on August 28, 206 (USA).
