For Kaamelott – Deuxième Volet – Partie 1, the teams of Rodeo FX delivered a range of visual effects including the creation of magical characters, atmospheric simulations, and fantastical environments.
Rodeo FX was notably tasked with designing and animating two unique characters, including a majestic figure made entirely of clouds. Achieving the right balance was crucial: the character’s face needed to remain recognizable while constantly dissolving and reforming within swirling layers of vapor, light, and armor-shaped elements.
The studio also developed magical effects and worked on an imposing warrior creature enhanced with character FX and bursts of energy. This mix of creature work and stylized effects pushed the team to refine their tools and workflows while bringing the fantasy elements of the film to life.
