The teams of Cinesite delivers major visual effects sequences for the new hybrid SpongeBob feature, The SpongeBob Movie: Search for Squarepants, blending live action with iconic animated characters.
The studio was responsible for three significant sequences in the film, starting with the prologue set at sea. This opening introduces the Flying Dutchman in a moody maritime environment that establishes the tone of the adventure.
Cinesite also created two large-scale sequences set on Santa Monica’s “Paradise” beaches, where a fast-paced rollercoaster ride pushes the story toward its energetic climax.
