Set before Sherlock Holmes became the legendary detective known around the world, Young Sherlock follows a disgraced young man whose life is turned upside down when he becomes involved in a murder investigation. As the mystery expands, the story leads to a globe-spanning conspiracy and a series of increasingly dangerous encounters.
To support the series, BlueBolt created numerous invisible visual effects designed to preserve the authenticity and scale of the period setting. The work included removing modern-day elements, extending practical sets and locations, enhancing action scenes, and creating explosions that seamlessly integrated into the live-action footage. The result is a visual effects approach that remains largely unseen while helping shape the world and atmosphere of Young Sherlock.
