For Wicked: For Good, Rising Sun Pictures delivered large-scale environment augmentations alongside intricate golden butterfly FX simulations, enriching the film’s visual atmosphere.
Rising Sun Pictures focused primarily on environment enhancements, extending and refining key locations to reinforce the scale and visual continuity of the story. Through seamless integration with live-action plates, the team amplified practical sets and landscapes, ensuring that every extension supported the film’s theatrical scope.
Alongside this work, the studio crafted detailed golden butterfly FX simulations. These elements required careful motion and interaction design to ensure they moved naturally within each scene, adding a magical layer while remaining visually coherent with the surrounding environments.
