The first trailer for War Machine sets the tone for a relentless military thriller, where an elite training exercise turns into a fight for survival against an unimaginable threat.
Set during the final stage of U.S. Army Ranger selection, War Machine follows an elite unit pushed beyond its limits when a routine exercise spirals out of control. As the soldiers face an unknown and overwhelming force, the boundary between training and reality collapses, launching a high-intensity battle for survival.
The production’s VFX work is overseen by Production VFX Supervisor Ray McIntyre Jr., alongside Production VFX Producer David Feinsilber and Associate VFX Producer Victor DiMichina, delivering large-scale action and high-intensity survival sequences for the film. The film’s visual effects are crafted by Framestore, Rising Sun Pictures, Fin Design + Effects and Lola VFX.
Directed by Patrick Hughes, War Machine is set to premiere on Netflix on March 6, 2026.
