PFX delivered 123 visual effects shots for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, supporting the latest chapter in the mystery franchise with invisible effects work designed to blend seamlessly into the storytelling. The studio handled a mix of 2D compositing tasks including clean-up, retouching, plate screen replacements, blue screen compositing, and beauty work.
The project also included 3D environment extensions for sequences involving the film’s central church, with additional digital foliage and surrounding environments created to maintain continuity across changing lighting conditions, weather variations, and reshoots. The work focused on delivering highly photoreal results while preserving visual consistency throughout the film.
