A new Sneak Peek from Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man introduces Duke Shelby, a rising figure in the Shelby dynasty as war reshapes Birmingham.
Set in 1940 during the turmoil of World War II, the upcoming film follows Tommy Shelby as he emerges from voluntary exile to confront a dark and unavoidable destiny. With his family’s future and the fate of his country hanging in the balance, Tommy must face his past and decide whether to honor the Shelby legacy or destroy it forever.
Directed by Tom Harper, the feature-length continuation reunites audiences with Tommy Shelby as he is forced out of exile in 1940 Birmingham to confront a destiny shaped by war, loyalty, and legacy. The film will debut on Netflix on March 20, 2026.
On the visual effects front, the production brings together several high-profile studios. The VFX are crafted by One of Us (VFX Supervisor: Guillaume Ménard), MagicLab, and House of Good Vibes. Previsualization was handled by Bigtooth Studios. Overseeing the production’s visual work is Production VFX Supervisor Theo Demiris.
