Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man leans on invisible visual effects by One of Us to rebuild a shattered Birmingham, extending the scale of World War II destruction and immersing the story in a city marked by fire, ruin, and lingering tension.
Set during World War II, the film follows Tommy Shelby returning to a devastated Birmingham, where the scars of war shape both the story and its visuals. Much of what appears on screen relies on seamless digital work designed to remain unnoticed.
One of Us focused on rebuilding period-accurate environments, depicting destruction caused by bombings, and integrating large-scale explosions. The result is a grounded and immersive portrayal of a city marked by conflict.
