The teams of Citystate Studio handled on-set supervision and delivered close to 150 visual effects shots for Lord of the Flies, contributing to the BBC adaptation with a subtle, invisible VFX approach.
Working on location in Langkawi, the team collaborated closely with the crew to plan and capture VFX-driven sequences. This included gathering reference data and anticipating how key elements such as fire and creatures would be developed in post-production.
The work spans creature integration, fire simulations combined with practical elements, and compositing enhancements to reinforce environments and atmosphere, all handled by a compact senior team ensuring consistency from shoot through delivery.
