Directed by Takashi Yamazaki, the film is notably produced under the “Filmed For IMAX®” program, marking a first for a Japanese production. This approach ensures an immersive experience optimized with IMAX’s expanded aspect ratio and advanced sound design, raising expectations for both scale and visual impact ahead of its November 3, 2026 release in Japan.
The visual effects are handled by Shirogumi, continuing their work on the franchise.
