The visual effects in After the Hunt are designed to remain unnoticed, carefully supporting the narrative while respecting a grounded aesthetic. Rather than drawing attention to themselves, the VFX focus on invisible enhancements that allow the story and performances to remain at the forefront.
Set extensions were essential to establish a convincing university setting. Using a hybrid workflow that combined high-resolution location plates with detailed 3D reconstructions, practical locations filmed elsewhere were seamlessly transformed into a cohesive and believable campus environment.
