John Moffat joined Double Negative in 1998 and participated on most projects of the studio such as PITCH BLACK, ENEMY AT THE GATES, THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK or ATONEMENT. He also participated on several HARRY POTTER which he oversaw the effects of the last 3 episodes.

After explaining his work for HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS: PART 2 for which he received a BAFTA Award, David Vickery is back on The Art of VFX. He talks about the participation of Double Negative on THE PIRATES! BAND OF MISFITS.

Peter Chiang started working in visual effects at the opticals period on projects such as HIGHLANDER, LABYRINTH, or BATMAN. In 1998 he is one of the founders of Double Negative. He has since overseen an impressive number of projects such as PITCH BLACK, ENEMY AT THE GATES, THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK, THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM or GREEN ZONE. In the following interview, he discusses his work on JOHN CARTER.

David Vickery is working at Double Negative for nearly 10 years. He has participated in projects such as CHILDREN OF MEN, THE DARK KNIGHT or CLOVERFIELD. He oversaw films such as SHERLOCK HOLMES and HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 1.

Jody Johnson went through all stages at Double Negative. She begins with roto and the compositing on STALINGRAD, STARDUST or SHAUN OF THE DEAD. Then compositing supervisor and finally VFX supervisor for movies like PENELOPE or BRIDGET JONES: THE EDGE OF REASON.
