Guy Williams had talked to us here about the visual effects of Weta Digital on THE AVENGERS a year ago. He is back with this new Marvel production and explains the many challenges on this film. Aaron Gilman started his career in animation more than 10 years ago. He worked for studios such as Meteor Studios and Tippett Studio on projects like MATRIX REVOLUTIONS, HELLBOY, CONSTANTINE or JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH. He then joined Weta Digital to work on AVATAR. After that he worked on films such as THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN, THE AVENGERS and THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY.

Since 2008, he is VFX supervisor and take care of movies such as JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH, NINJA ASSASSIN or CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER.
Bill George began his career in visual effects as a model maker in 1979 on STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE. After completing his work on BLADE RUNNER, he joined ILM in 1981. He created models for many films such as STAR WARS: EPISODE IV - RETURN OF THE JEDI, INNERSPACE or GHOSTBUSTERS II. In 1997, he became a visual effects supervisor and take care of many films like GALAXY QUEST, HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS, EVAN ALMIGHTY or I AM NUMBER FOUR.
When Michel Mielke joined Scanline in 2004, he first worked as a producer on such films as THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN, 2012, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES or THE AVENGERS. In the following interview, he talks about his work as VFX Supervisor on LOOPER.
