Rudi Holzapfel is back to science fiction (he had talked about his work on TOTAL RECALL) and to The Art of VFX. In the following interview, he talks about the challenge of creating the slow-motion effects on DREDD.

Dadi Einarsson has over 20 years experience in the VFX. He started in Iceland before moving to London and New York. He has worked at The Mill and Framestore for projects like AUSTRALIA, SHERLOCK HOLMES or CLASH OF THE TITANS. In 2008, he returned to Iceland and founded Framestore Iceland.

Jeff White joined ILM almost 10 years ago and has participated on projects like VAN HELSING, STAR WARS EPISODE III, TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN or TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON. He received a VES Award for Outstanding Visual Effects in a Special Venue Project for TRANSFORMERS: THE RIDE 3D.

Simon Hughes began his career in visual effects in 1997 at Cinesite. For over 10 years, he worked in various studios like Double Negative, Rainmaker UK or Clear and on movies like KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, UNITED 93 or SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE. In 2009, he joined the teams of Image Engine to work on DISTRICT 9. He subsequently oversaw the effects of film LAW ABIDING CITIZEN, THE LOSERS or THE FACTORY. In the following interview, he talks (with Gustavo Yamin, Jordan Benwick and Janeen Elliott) of his work on IMMORTALS.

Anders Langlands is working at MPC since 2004. Has participated in such films as HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN, CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, 10,000 BC and CLASH OF THE TITANS.

Adam Avitabile worked for over 10 years at Look Effects. He has participated in numerous TV series as MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, PUSHING DAISIES or LOST. His career also has a lot of movies like ROCKY BALBOA, APOCALYPTO, LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE or THE WRESTLER.

After several years at London Computer Film Company, Adrian de Wet goes to California at ESC Entertainment to work on THE MATRIX RELOADED. Back in London, he worked for many studios such as Framestore, MPC and Double Negative, that he joined in 2007.

Little back of few months with this interview of Nicolas Aithadi which talks about his work on HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE. After a few years in the videogame (FINAL FANTASY X, TOMB RAIDER 5) and french movies (Vidocq, Asterix Mission Cleopatra) Nicolas Aithadi took on the Londonian Adventure and joined The Moving Picture Company and worked on such projects as TROY, ALEXANDER, CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY. He is now working on the next installment of the HARRY POTTER franchise.
