Jay Randall is back on The Art of VFX after he had explained his work on IMMORTALS. This time, he tells us the challenges on this new collaboration with director Tarsem and its MIRROR MIRROR.

Before joining Framestore, Mike Mulholland worked at Cinesite on projects such as LARA CROFT: TOMB RAIDER and the TV series BAND OF BROTHERS then at ESC Entertainment for CATWOMAN. At Framestore, Mike has participated on films like AVATAR, CLASH OF THE TITANTS or WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE. In the following interview, Mike accompanied by Ben Morris (VFX Supervisor) and Duncan Burbidge (VFX Producer) talk about their work on WAR HORSE.

Chad Wiebe began his career working on the impressive opening scene in bullet time of SWORDFISH at Frantic Films. He then worked on THE CORE, X2 or CATWOMAN. It then supervised the VFX for films like TOOTH FAIRY or DRAGONBALL EVOLUTION. In 2007, Frantic Films was acquired by Prime Focus. Chad then oversee the effects of ECLIPSE.

Kirk Shintani worked for many years as a freelancer before joining teams of a52/elastic. In the following interview, he talks about his work on the main title of GAME OF THRONES for which he received an Emmy Award.

After studying at the School of Art and Design of Zurich, Raffael Dickreuter joined the team of Pixel Liberation Front. He worked in many projects such as SUPERMAN RETURNS, TERMINATOR SALVATION, IRON MAN 2 or AVATAR. In 2002, he founded the reference site XSI Base.

After explaining to us his work on THE PREY, Laurens Ehrmann of Plug Effects is back on The Art of VFX and tells us their contribution on X-MEN: FIRST CLASS.

Jacob Otterström worked at Filmgate for more than 4 years. He has participated on movies such as THE COTTAGE, EDEN LAKE or THE DESCENT Part 2.
