Ara Khanikian evolves in the midst of visual effects of Montreal since nearly 10 years, he has gone through many studios like Buzz Image, Hybride or Rodeo FX. He has worked on projects such as THE FOUNTAIN, 300, THE X-FILES, TERMINATOR SALVATION or TWILIGHT: ECLIPSE. In the following interview, he talks to us about his work on JONAH HEX.

After working several years at Mill Film on films such as BABE 2, GLADIATOR or LARA CROFT, Ben Morris joined Framestore in 2000 and participate on projects such as TROY, CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY and as visual effects supervisor on THE GOLDEN COMPASS and PRINCE OF PERSIA.

Sue Rowe is one of the few female VFX supervisors in the business. She works at Cinesite for over 10 years and oversaw movies such as TROY, CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, X-MEN 3 or THE GOLDEN COMPASS. She just finished the visual effects of PRINCE OF PERSIA.

Charlie Noble works in visual effects for over 15 years. He joined Double Negative at its beginnings in working on PITCH BLACK. Alessandro Cioffi has built his knowledge of visual effects by working in various studios in Italy, London or Germany. He participated to the compositing of such movies as 300, KINGDOM OF HEAVEAN or SWEENEY TODD. He joined the Trixter in 2007 and NINJA ASSASSIN mark its first movie as visual effects supervisor. He talks about his work on NINJA ASSASSIN and how Trixter has managed this ambitious project.

Deak Ferrand has worked for more than 15 years in visual effects as a matte painter. He was on the team that won an Academy Award for the Best Visual Effects for WHAT DREAMS MAY COMES. He has since founded his own company, Hatch, and has participated in a large number of film projects such as RIDDICK, CONSTANTINE, SHOOTER, THE ASSASSINATION OF JESSE JAMES, RED CLIFF and WOLVERINE. In the interview which follows, Deak speaks to us about its course and its work on THE BOOK OF ELI.
