From 8 to 11th Mai took place the FMX 2012 with an impressive selection of high quality conferences. This was an great opportunity to meet many artists interviewed here and also make beautiful meetings. A big thanks to the FMX staffs!

In 2010, Sue Rowe had told us about his work on PRINCE OF PERSIA. She then moved on the most ambitious project to date at Cinesite: JOHN CARTER. In the following interview, Sue presents in detail her work of more than two years on this film.

Geoffrey Hancock has been evolving for over 10 years in visual effects, he worked at Gajdecki Visual Effects, Rainmaker and CIS Vancouver, the latter of which is now Method Studios. Geoffrey has worked on films like I Robot, VANTAGE POINT or NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM. This is his third collaboration with Clint Eastwood, he oversaw the effects of CHANGELING and INVICTUS. Ollie Rankin worked at Weta for the first two LORD OF THE RINGS and then joined the teams of MPC and has worked on films such as KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, WATCHMEN or HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE. For the occasion of INVICTUS, Ollie joined CIS Vancouver.

Takashi Yamazaki started his career in 1986 at Shirogumi as a model artist, then it will work as a VFX designer before becoming director. It will directs movies like JUVENILE, RETURNER or DEMON WARRIOR 3. He is the VFX supervisor for most of his films. In the following interview, he talks about his work on the space opera SPACE BATTLESHIP YAMATO.

After studying in Korea and Canada, Eui Park returned to Korea and worked at Next Visual Studio on over 40 films including THE CHASER, THREE KINGDOMS or THE MUREDERER. In the following interview, he talks about his work on 14 BLADES (YI JIN WEI).

Eddy Wong founded Menfond Electronic Art in 1990 with his brother Victor. They are the first to create the full computer graphics in China, it was for the commercial EPRO Paging. There are also working on cinematics for video games like PARASITE EVE or FINAL FANTASY VIII. In 2001, they created the first full CG animation feature, MASTER Q, with director Tsui Hark. Eddy Wong supervised the VFX of many films including INFERNAL AFFAIRS trilogy, LEGEND OF ZU, HOUSE OF FLYING DAGGERS or NEW POLICE STORY. In the following interview, he talks about his work on the film SHAOLIN.

Rob Duncan has worked for nearly 15 years at Framestore. He has participated in projects like LOST IN SPACE, THE BEACH or STALINGRAD. As a VFX supervisor, he worked on films such as BLADE II, UNDERWORLD, AUSTRALIA or WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE. In the following interview, he talks about his work on JOHNNY ENGLISH REBORN.

Chad Wiebe began his career working on the impressive opening scene in bullet time of SWORDFISH at Frantic Films. He then worked on THE CORE, X2 or CATWOMAN. It then supervised the VFX for films like TOOTH FAIRY or DRAGONBALL EVOLUTION. In 2007, Frantic Films was acquired by Prime Focus. Chad then oversee the effects of ECLIPSE.
