Aaron Gilman started his career in animation more than 10 years ago. He worked for studios such as Meteor Studios and Tippett Studio on projects like MATRIX REVOLUTIONS, HELLBOY, CONSTANTINE or JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH. He then joined Weta Digital to work on AVATAR. After that he worked on films such as THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN, THE AVENGERS and THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY.

Neil Huxley is back on Art of VFX. He talked about his work at Prime Focus on AVATAR. He then joined the team of Mothership as director. Accompanied by Aladino Debert, he explains his work on this DEAD SPACE 3 commercial.

Dan Levitan began his career in visual effects at Cinesite Hollywood in 1994 and worked on films like WATERWORLD, GATTACA or PLEASANTVILLE. He then worked at Dream Quest Images, CIS Hollywood, Digital Dimension and Hammerhead. As VFX supervisor, he worked on movies such as SALT, THE HANGOVER PART II or FRIGHT NIGHT.

Robin Hollander began his career in visual effects as a runner at MPC. He worked on many projects such as ALEXANDER or THE DA VINCI CODE. In 2007, he joined Weta Digital and participate in films like AVATAR, RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES and THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN.

Eric Saindon began working in visual effects at Santa Barbara Studios on STAR TREK INSURRECTION and SUPERNOVA. In 2000, he joined Weta Digital to work on the LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy. Then he worked on projects such as I ROBOT, KING KONG or AVATAR.

Paul and Christina Graff are the founders of Crazy Horse Effects. Before that they worked on many projects at Digital Backlot such as THERE WILL BE BLOOD, THE AVIATOR or TROPIC THUNDER. In the following interview, they talk about their collaboration with director Oliver Stone.

I am pleased to have been able to interview one of the VFX masters in the person of Michael Fink, Senior VFX Supervisor with an impressive career that includes films such as BLADE RUNNER, BATMAN RETURNS, THE HUNT OF RED OCTOBER and more recently THE GOLDEN COMPASS, SUCKER PUNCH or AVATAR. He received the Best Visual Effect Academy Award for THE GOLDEN COMPASS.

For over 14 years, Rudi Holzapfel worked in many studios such as Framestore, Double Negative, MPC, Rising Sun Pictures and recently Baseblack. He has participated in numerous projects such as PITCH BLACK, TROY, BATMAN BEGINS, AVATAR, or CLASH OF THE TITANS.

Martin Hill began his career in VFX at Double Negative, where he worked on films like BELOW, THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK or BATMAN BEGINS. He then joined Weta Digital for KING KONG. He worked on many projects like ERAGON, AVATAR, RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES or THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN.
