Steve Preeg has an experience of over 15 years in the animation and visual effects. He has worked on many films such as FINAL FANTASY: THE SPIRITS WITHIN, THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RETURN OF THE KING, KING KONG or TRON LEGACY. In 2009, he won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects for THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON. OBLIVION is his second collaboration with director Joseph Kosinski.

Guy Williams had talked to us here about the visual effects of Weta Digital on THE AVENGERS a year ago. He is back with this new Marvel production and explains the many challenges on this film. Mark Bakowski began his career in visual effects more than 10 years ago. He worked for many studios such as Mill Film, Cinesite and Framestore. He has worked on films like V FOR VENDETTA, CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, QUANTUM OF SOLACE or PRINCE OF PERSIA: SANDS OF TIME.

Christopher Townsend joined ILM in 1995. He stayed 11 years there and will work on projects such as CONGO, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: AI, HULK and also the new STAR WARS trilogy. Since 2008, he is VFX supervisor and take care of movies such as JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH, NINJA ASSASSIN or CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER.

Mikael Damant-Sirois began working at Meteor Studio on projects such as JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH or TV series CRUSOE. He joined Rodeo FX in 2012 and worked on films like RED TAILS, MIRROR MIRROR or THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN - PART 2.

Danny Yount is back on The Art of VFX. He explains the different process and the challenges for the creation of the opening title and end title for OBLIVION made by Prologue Films. This is his second collaboration with director Joseph Kosinski.

Since his last visit on The Art of VFX for THE THREE MUSKETEERS, Ara Khanikian worked on films like IMMORTALS, UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING, RED TAILS or MIRROR MIRROR.

Isabelle Perin-Leduc began her career in visual effects at BUF in 2003. She has worked on many commercials before moving on feature films such as the trilogy of ARTHUR AND THE INVISIBLES, MR. MAGORIUM'S WONDER EMPORIUM, BE KIND REWIND or SPEED RACER.

Bjørn Mayer began his career in visual effects more than 10 years ago. He worked at Pixomondo on films such as RED BARON, 2012, RED TAILS or HUGO.
