In 2017, Paul Butterworth explained the work of Animal Logic on GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2. He then worked on ALIEN: COVENANT. In 2011, Jason Bath explained the work of Fuel VFX on CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER. Then he worked on many films like THE AVENGERS, PROMETHEUS, IRON MAN 3 and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL 2.

In 2012, Paul Butterworth explained to us the work of Fuel VFX on PROMETHEUS. He then worked on IRON MAN 3, THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE and X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. In 2014, Fuel VFX is acquired by Animal Logic. Within this studio, Paul works on INSURGENT, AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON and CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR.

Last year, Paul Butterworth talked to us about his work on THOR. This time he explains the wonderful work of Fuel VFX on the film that marks the return to the SF of Ridley Scott, PROMETHEUS.

Paul Butterworth has worked at Animal Logic in 1993 as compositing artist and later became the first Australian VFX supervisor! He also directed numerous commercials and do a lot of matte paintings. In 1998, he oversee 1300 shots in 8 months for the TV series FARSCAPE. In 2000, he founded with Dave Morley, Andrew Hellen, Simon Maddison and Jason Bath, the studio Fuel VFX. He oversaw the effects of X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE and is currently working on Ridley Scott's PROMETHEUS. In the following interview, he talks about his work on THOR.
