Guy Williams had talked to us here about the visual effects of Weta Digital on THE AVENGERS a year ago. He is back with this new Marvel production and explains the many challenges on this film. Aaron Gilman started his career in animation more than 10 years ago. He worked for studios such as Meteor Studios and Tippett Studio on projects like MATRIX REVOLUTIONS, HELLBOY, CONSTANTINE or JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH. He then joined Weta Digital to work on AVATAR. After that he worked on films such as THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN, THE AVENGERS and THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY.

Guy Williams started in visual effects in 1993 and worked on films such as DROP ZONE MARS ATTACKS! or WING COMMANDER. In 1999, he joined Weta Digital and work on the LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy, I ROBOT or KING KONG. As a VFX supervisor, he took care of AVATAR, THE A-TEAM or X-MEN FIRST CLASS.

Roger Guyett explained the ILM's work on STAR WARS - THE FORCE AWAKENS in 2016. READY PLAYER ONE marks his new collaboration with director Steven Spielberg. In 2012, Grady Cofer told us about his work on BATTLESHIP. He then worked on many films such as LONE SURVIVOR, NOAH and TERMINATOR GENISYS.

During his last visit, Roger Guyett explained to us the work of ILM on COWBOYS & ALIENS. In 2013, he is back with director JJ Abrams on STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS. In addition to its Overall VFX Supervisor job position, he is the Second unit director as he was on the previous STAR TREK movie.
